Needs Analysis and System Design Consulting

Technical Consulting

Fairfax has a high level of experience and expertise with FileNet products, ranging from FileNet legacy FDOS systems to FileNet's newest product offerings.  Fairfax FileNet consultants can be deployed in your organization to address a specific need, for example performing in an advisory role to solve a FileNet-related technical issue or assisting with making a complex system modification.  In these capacities, Fairfax functions as the "FileNet expert" on the project, assisting the project team by providing the necessary FileNet-related information.

Training

Fairfax offers one-on-one or small group FileNet training.  Our training is a supplement to FileNet's structured education offerings.  We can tailor our training to your site-specific FileNet implementation or to meet the specific needs of an individual.  Some special types of training we have conducted are development mentoring and system administrator training.  

Fairfax provides development mentoring by assigning you an engineer experienced with the FileNet products and toolkits.  Our engineer can assist your development team by reviewing development requirements, recommending the implementation approach, giving an overview of the FileNet object model, and being available to answer specific questions from the developers and troubleshoot.

Fairfax provides system administrator training that is tailored for an individual administrator's specific needs.  For example, an administrator might have specific questions and concerns that can most efficiently be dealt with in a day's worth of one-on-one on-site training, or, after upgrading or expanding a FileNet implementation, the system administrator might have additional duties that a Fairfax FileNet consultant can help you assume by targeted training.
